DMCA Policy

Last updated: August 28, 2026

Hammer Forge Apps LLC (DBA CBDPOS) operates cbdpos.com and the CBDPOS point-of-sale and storefront service. We respect the intellectual property rights of others and respond to clear notices of alleged copyright infringement under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).

This page explains how to submit a takedown notice or a counter-notification, and how to reach our designated DMCA agent.

1. Designated DMCA agent

Our designated agent for notice of alleged copyright infringement, registered with the U.S. Copyright Office, is:

  • Agent: Copyright Agent, Hammer Forge Apps LLC
  • Email: [email protected]
  • Mail: available on request by email (we accept notices electronically)

What to send

Email is the fastest way to reach the agent. Send DMCA notices and counter-notifications to [email protected] with "DMCA" in the subject line.

2. Filing a takedown notice

If you believe material accessible through cbdpos.com or a store running on the CBDPOS service infringes your copyright, send our designated agent a written notice that includes all of the following. Under 17 U.S.C. 512(f), you may be liable for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees, if you knowingly misrepresent that material is infringing.

  • Your physical or electronic signature
  • Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed
  • Identification of the material you claim is infringing, including a URL or other specific location on our service so we can locate it
  • Your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
  • A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf

3. What happens after we receive a notice

We review complete notices and, where appropriate, remove or disable access to the identified material. We try to notify the affected user or store operator and forward a copy of the notice when we do.

CBDPOS is a business service: most content on any given storefront belongs to that store's operator, not to us. Where the material in question is a merchant's listing or image, we may resolve the claim by working with that merchant, including by requiring removal of the material as a condition of continued service.

4. Counter-notification

If your material was removed and you believe this was a mistake or misidentification, you may send our designated agent a counter-notification that includes all of the following.

  • Your physical or electronic signature
  • Identification of the material that was removed and the location where it appeared before removal
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification
  • Your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address, plus your consent to the jurisdiction of the U.S. federal court for the district where you live (or, if outside the U.S., for any judicial district in which we may be found), and your agreement to accept service of process from the person who sent the original notice

5. Repeat infringers

We terminate the accounts of store operators who repeatedly infringe copyright, in appropriate circumstances.

6. A note on misuse

This process exists for copyright claims. It is not a channel for competitor takedowns, trademark disputes, or business complaints; notices that misuse the DMCA process for non-copyright claims may be rejected. This page is information about our policy and is not legal advice.
